Fun with James

Morgan and James always have fun together! They are quite the cute couple. James really enjoyed taking Morgan's hand a few times to show her something or take her to another part of the room. He also gave Morgan a BIG hug! Morgan played hard to get during the hug! We love our play dates with James and his Mommy we looked forward to them each week!

James just didn't want to smile for the camera after multiple attempts Jennifer and I gave up...I guess Morgan thought that was funny!

16 Months!

What have you been up to this month????

• You love playing on your big girl swing set. You can climb the tall ladder and go down the slide all by yourself!
• You love making all of your animal sounds...from a dog, cat, cow, lion, and MU Tiger (Daddy's favorite team)
• You love giving big kisses and huge hugs
• You always have to sit at your little table for snack time
• You help pick up your toys before bed
• You love throwing trash away for us! You are quite the helper!
• You no longer let us pick out books to read before nap and bed....You love to choose each book! :)
• You let us know when you need a diaper change
• You communicate so well...you do lots of baby signs...you still don't say a ton of words but you are soo expressive and creative!
• You created your own sign for "please," you pucker up your lips like a fish and make a smack sound...adorable!
• You love it when we sing you songs and play ring-around-the-rosie!
• You are so imaginative...between dressing up, talking on your play cell phone, cooking in your kitchen, rocking your dolls to sleep, and playing with your stuffed animals.
• You still LOVE shoes!!! If you keep this up it could become an expensive obsession when you are 16! :)
• You don't miss anything and you never give up! You determination can challenge your Mommy and Daddy at times, but we know that spirit will take you far in life!

Fun with cousin Abby

Morgan had so much fun yesterday with her cousin Abby! Morgan loves being with big kids....because she thinks she is sooo big! Abby is 4 years old and is so sweet to Morgan. They had fun drawing with sidewalk chalk, chasing bubbles, kicking the soccer ball and playing on the swing set. Morgan can't wait until Abby comes over again!

Morgan loves snacks and she also loves being a big girl! This combination usually leads to a huge mess since she wants to do things on her own.

Builder/Architect

Morgan is really into building towers lately...maybe we have a future builder/architect on our hands?? :)

Morgan enjoys playing dress up as many of you know from previous post. She always wants different sock, shoes, or outfits on. Some of the things she chooses to wear definitely keeps me laughing!! Here are a couple pictures of Morgan having fun! I also included a couple of pictures of Morgan and I cuddling and playing with all her stuffed animals. She is so much fun!

Happy Anniversary!

Today Andy and I celebrate our 4 year wedding anniversary! It has been a wonderful 4 years and I couldn't ask for a better husband! I am so blessed! I love you Andy!!

We went away to a bed and breakfast in Excelsior Springs. It was WONDERFUL!! It was sooo relaxing. It was a nice treat to have time for just the two of us! We also decided to get one of the packages the B&B offers and we got a dozen chocolate covered strawberries. They were incredible!! We can't wait to go back some day! While we were away for the night Morgan was enjoying her time with Papa Joe, Gigi, and her Aunt Vicki. She spent the night and Gigi made her homemade pizza, which Morgan loves. I know she had the best time and enjoyed being spoiled!!

Morgan had her best buddy James over last week for some fun in her little pool. The kids had more fun throwing rocks than swimming. Later they enjoyed playing on the swing set. James showed Morgan how strong and brave he was by climbing up the slide! :)

We have had a fun and busy week! Between play dates, music class, swimming, and just good old fun...we've been on the go a lot! I haven't taken my camera out with me out very much the past few days, but below are some cute shots of our Miss Morgan having fun!

Andy's friend Dash stopped by this week for breakfast and we enjoyed having him over. Dash is a faithful blog follower and even gives me a hard time if I haven't posted recently. I told him I would dedicated this post just to him!
