We had a great time on our beach vacation. We went to Fort Morgan, Alabama. (right outside of Gulf Shores) We enjoyed the trip with my mom, my two sisters and their families. We had two days of rain, but other than that the weather was great. The girls did very well on the two day care ride there and back. Road trips with Andy and the girls are always fun! We chose to take a ferry over to Fort Morgan to save time rather than going through Mobile and dealing with all the traffic. Morgan loved that our car went with us on the ferry ride. We also enjoyed touring historic Fort Morgan! Other than that our days were filled with the beach and late afternoons at the pool. Mackenzie loved playing in the sand, but didn't like to get near where the waves broke. It scared her. We were happy she would get in the ocean with us, as long as we held her. We saw dolphins everyday not far from the shore line. We also got the treat of the Blue Angels doing practice fly overs at our beach. I was amazed by the crazy tricks they did. I now want to go to an air show in the future. :)
Andy also celebrated his 35th birthday and Jack celebrated his 13th! Two big milestones! Fun to have birthdays on vacation!!!
