30 Weeks
I am posting this in the middle of my 30th week. I will actually be 31 weeks on Friday...time is flying by. I have been going to my twice weekly appointments now for the past two weeks and they are going well. On Friday, the baby was 3 lbs. 12 oz. She is still measuring a week+ ahead of her due date. Today they checked my fluids during the sonogram and didn't check her weight. They told me they won't check her weight each week, since they will be looking at the fluid levels, etc. some of the weeks. The amniotic fluid looks great and they also watched to see how the blood flow was working in the umbilical cord. Everything checked out great!! I love seeing our little girl each week during the sonogram. Today I saw her open and close her eyes. She also gave me a thumbs up! It is so amazing to see her. Babies are such miracles!
Baby Bean loves to move and unfortunately she is no longer head down. She has moved her head to my lower right side. :( Hopefully she will make her way back to the head down position in the next month and then stay that way.

Swimming fun!
We enjoyed a fun morning of swimming with our good friends the Wilson's! Morgan was super excited to see James!!!
This was Morgan's first time swimming without a swim diaper. New territory for us...she did great!
Morgan LOVED swimming! It was a great way for the kids to get out some energy while it is so cold outside. We can't wait to go back!! :)

Sesame Street Live!
Last night we went to see..."Elmo's Healthy Habits," at the Sprint Center. It was a special family outing I organized back in December. I thought this could be a fun activity for the three of us to do before our baby girl arrives. The night was all about Morgan!! We started off by having dinner at Winstead's. Morgan ate her entire cheeseburger, most of her fries, and half of her chocolate milk shake. We were impressed. I didn't get a milk shake...I was hoping she would leave some for me and like a good daughter she let me enjoy the other half of her shake. :)

Enjoying her chocolate shake!

Enjoying the show!
On the way to the Sprint Center she took a quick 15 minute nap since she only took a short 30 min. nap on the way home from her play date with James earlier in the day. I was glad she got a quick cat nap in since the show didn't start until 7. Morgan usually is in bed by 8, so this was going to be a late night without having her normal 2 hour nap. I was hoping she would last through the whole show.
We got to our seats 15 min. early and she sat in her seat so tall like a statue patiently waiting for the show to begin. During the show she smiled, laughed, and sang the whole time. She was loving every moment. I was so proud of her. The show didn't end until 8:30 and she sat on her chair or my lap the entire time. At the end of the show she said, "More Elmo, please!" She is at such a fun age and taking her on outings is a lot of fun 99% of the time. When we got back to our car it was near 9pm. I had her pj's with us so a quick change in the car and then we were off for home. She was asleep in about 5 min. I was hoping she would sleep in this morning, but at 6:45 I heard her sweet little voice as she came into my room. Maybe a good nap will happen for both of us today! :)

Big Kid in her Big Bed!
Morgan has had such a big start to 2011. First, she became potty trained...and that is going excellent! Then, over the weekend she started sleeping in her "Big Kid" room. That too is going extremely well. I was so worried I would have a lot of sleepless nights and Morgan would be constantly running out of her room at bedtime or the middle of the night. We have had none of that. The only night that was hard was the fist night after midnight. She woke up pretty upset and didn't want to stay in her big bed. I was worried and thinking...here we go to a few long weeks. But, after that night, she has slept all night every night in her bed. YEAH Morgan!! :) Going down at bedtime has been super easy too. If she needs something she calls out to me and doesn't get out of her bed. Each night I have had to go in her room only once or twice and she is asleep within 20 mins. Thank you Morgan for letting your prego mommy get some good sleep!!
Hopefully I will get pictures of her big kid room up in the next few weeks. I am still looking for some wall decor and I'm having her window treatment made. As soon as it is completed I will post.
All tucked in and ready for sweet dreams! I love her picket fence headboard!!
She keeps adding more stuffed animals to her bed each day. Last night two of her baby dolls had moved into her bed too.

Snow Fun!!
We enjoyed our first BIG snow fall yesterday. Morgan ran into my room about 6:30am saying, "it's snowing...play outside...please!" I told her we had to wait until it was daylight and had breakfast. :) We did go outside a little before noon and enjoyed the snow for an hour. I was freezing and ready to come in, Morgan wasn't very happy to go inside. Luckily her Daddy was home today and they went outside for a little while. Her wimpy Mommy stayed inside! I actually got a few good pictures of the two of them from the window.
Morgan got her first hot chocolate with marshmallows. She LOVED it! I had to put it in a mug just like mine. Of course her hot chocolate was only luke warm and maybe a 1/4 full. I am waiting for the day that she will start demanding a full cup. I love hot chocolate and look forward to sharing hot chocolate with her each year when she comes in from playing in the snow. :)
Morgan and her Daddy having a lot of fun!
yummy...hot chocolate!
28 weeks
I had my doctor appointment today. Starting from this point on I will go twice a week until the baby arrives. Today I saw the doctor, had a sonogram, and a non-stress test. Everything looks great! Our baby is already pretty BIG! I am measuring 2 weeks ahead. Baby bean is 3 lbs. 4 oz. WOW!! Big babies run in our family, so I am not to shocked. The doctor is so pleased that the baby is growing so well with only the two vein cord. Baby bean could still slow down in her growth as we get closer to the due date, but I am so glad she is doing well. The doctor also mentioned that she is super active after looking over the non-stress test and seeing how many kicks she did in just 20 mins. I was also happy to find out I passed my glucose test! YEAH! But, they did say I am anemic, so of course Andy now thinks I need to eat steak at every meal. :)

Happy New Year...No more diapers!
We hope everyone is enjoying the New Year!
We started potty training Morgan 6 days ago. It has gone extremely well. She has only had 3 accidents the whole time. None of the accidents have been in the past 3 days. Another great accomplishment is we are having her wear underwear at nap time and she hasn't had a single accident while napping. She still wears a diaper/pull up at night and will continue to do so for a few months. We have also gone a few short outings to church, story time and lunch. All successful with no accidents!! I am so thankful her training has gone so smoothly.
We tried to create a fun atmosphere so we kicked off "Morgan's Potty Parade!" It was complete with marching, singing, balloons and a sign. She loves her balloon and sign!
We are looking forward to all that 2011 will bring. It's been fun to watch our sweet little girl grow into such an amazing toddler over the past year. Last night I told Andy it's crazy to think we were a family of three in 2010, but in 2011 we will become a family of four. It is going to be a great year!!
