Morgan's Christmas Program
Morgan did a wonderful job at her Christmas program! She loves to sing and isn't shy up on stage at all. The sweetest part of their performance was singing Happy Birthday to Jesus. They even had a giant foam birthday cake covered in Christmas lights. I love it reminds us of what is really important during Christmas!

Morgan had a special date night with Mommy and Daddy in early December. Mackenzie stayed at Papi and Gigi's for special time with them. :) We took Morgan to Christmas in the Park and then out to eat. We ended our night seeing the lights on Chicago street. It was so much fun to have time with our "big" kid! We love you Morgan!
Santa and Crown Center 2012!
We enjoyed our yearly tradition of going to Crown Center to see Santa, the gingerbread village, playing in Crayola Land, and picking out an ornament for each of the girls at Hallmark. Mackenzie did great with Santa! No tears! She wasn't really sure what to think of him. Morgan LOVES Santa. She even had to ask him what his favorite cookie is. He told us chocolate chip with white milk to drink. It was exceptionally warm day, the girls didn't even need coats. We took advantage of the great weather and went outside to see the mayor's Christmas tree and play on the giant wooden toys. I wish we could have done the outside ice skating. Mackenzie is still too little. Hopefully in a few years we can add that to our tradition! It was a perfect family day!! :)
Happy 30th Vicki!
We had fun celebrating Vicki's surprise 30th birthday on the first of December at the Granfalloon.
It was a fun night out!
Happy Thanksgiving 2012!
We had a nice/crazy Thanksgiving. We started at Andy's families house then ended for dessert at Holli's.
Mackenzie had been sick off and on that week, but seemed okay to head over to Andy's family for a meal. Before I could get a family picture or one of the girls in their cute matching dresses she puked getting some on her dress. :( Poor girl and poor mommy who also got some on her clothes. Then Morgan stepped in the dogs water bowl so her tights were wet so she had to take them off. I guess it wasn't meant to be getting a nice family photo this year. Oh well...

Albers weekend
We always enjoy our November tradition of going to Cuba, MO to stay at Roger and Janie's lake house. It is a fun weekend with Lori's side of the family. There is a lot of leaf raking, (and piles of leaves to jump in), a bon fire and tons of delicious food! The best part is seeing family we don't get to see very often!

Bye Bye Gate!
Sometimes it is the end of an era! We took the baby gate down that first made it's appearance when Morgan was only 6 months old. After four years, it is coming down! Mackenzie maneuvers the stairs great, so it was time. :) One thing I will miss...I used the gate as a drying rack for my sweaters and jeans. HA!! Guess I will have to find a new place to dry my wet clothes. :)
Great Grandma's Birthday!

We headed to Nebraska for my grandma's 90th birthday in early November. It was a great trip! The weather was good for traveling and the kids were excellent in the 7 hours there and then back. Luckily we always get to stop at our friends the Craigs'. It is the perfect half way point. Their children are very close in age to Morgan and Mackenzie and they always have a blast together!
I think my grandma had a wonderful birthday! I was so glad to get a chance to visit with them. My grandparents are amazing people! I hope to go visit them again in the late spring.

Halloween 2012
The girls had a great Halloween! Morgan was a sweet cupcake and Mackenzie was an adorable little lamb! We went to my mom's for lunch to see my great Aunt Verlee and Aunt Linda. Morgan thought we should go up to a few "practices" houses to show Mackenzie how to trick or treat. Mackenzie caught on easily to the process. She loved holding her basket out to get candy! That evening we enjoyed having Andy's parents over and his Aunt Sue. Mackenzie went to about 10 houses with us before heading home to bed. Morgan, Gigi and I went a little farther and had lots of fun! The weather was great and Morgan enjoyed cruising in her wagon in between streets. We had so many trick or treaters! It was a great day!

Out of storage!
A few weeks ago I was ready to upload a bunch a pictures and the blog said I was out of free storage for my pictures. :( UGH!
I love adding photos and stories to my blog. I am not quite sure what I will do. Start a new blog? Maybe. I refuse to pay the $2.50 a month for additional storage. I know to some of you it may not seem like a big deal. For me it's the principle behind it. I was always under the impression when I started this blog it was free. I am not willing to be billed monthly to add pictures to it.
I am also going to look into making the years I have recorded into a book. Once I do that, I can delete my previous blog post and that will free up some storage. So hang tight with me...it may be a few weeks before I figure out what my next step is. Hopefully new pictures of the girls will be added soon. Thanks for understanding!
