What a great year you had sweet girl!!
It seems this has been the year you have moved from the toddler/preschooler phase to becoming a big kid. You had a lot of first over the past year! Here are a few...
- July 2012 began riding your bike without training wheels
- Fall 2012 and spring 2013 played on an outdoor soccer team. You scored you first goal last fall and then scored 4 goals this spring!
- You can count past 100!
- writing your own stories, fall 2012
- You began reading in February 2013.
- You have your first wiggly tooth! (April 2013)
- Crossing the monkey bars all by yourself, fall 2012
- Doing chores around the house...making your bed, clearing the table after meals, sweeping the floors, helping me fold laundry
One of the biggest accomplishments Morgan had this month is she STOPPED SUCKING HER THUMB!! We are so proud of her!! In true Morgan fashion it only took 2 weeks of band aids on her thumb at night and then she was done. It was such and easy transition. I'm beyond proud of her and how mature she was in dealing with her habit. Yay!!! :)
Some other fun info...
You are wearing 5T clothes and a size 10 shoe. You love art, dancing, and singing. Your favorite thing is to play outside...especially riding your bike. You enjoy reading and love to visit the library. It fun to see you enjoy some of the same toys I liked when I was our age. (Care Bears, Strawberry Shortcake, My Little Ponies, and Bernstein Bear Books)
You are the best big sister! Always looking out for Mackenzie! The two of you are the best of friends...I love that!
You love God and I enjoy listening to your prayers each night and reading in your bible with you.
You are the sweetest girl and wear your heart on your sleeve! I'm glad you don't want to grow up too fast. I love your innocence! It makes me happy you want to act your age and play with toys and do things that a five year old wants to do.
I hope you continue to love life the way that you do now! We love our big 5 year old!!!
