4 Month Pictures

I did a little photo shoot with Mackenzie this morning. I didn't go and get professional 3 month pictures of her. Since she is now four months I wanted to make sure I capture this adorable stage. I decided to play photographer and fingers crossed get a couple cute shots of her. I think they turned out pretty good! :)

4 month doctor visit

Mackenzie went on Monday to her 4 month Dr. appointment. She is doing wonderful! She is big and healthy! We are truly blessed! Morgan was very sad to see her sister get shots. In fact, Morgan cried when Mackenzie cried. :( She said that hurts Mackenzie. With both of my girls crying it was hard for me not to cry too.

4 Months

Our sweet girl is growing up way to fast!

*You smile all the time...even when I feed you...the bottle falls out of your mouth because you want to smile at your mama!

*You have turned into such an easy going girl. You love playing in your exersaucer or hanging out on your blanket with toys.

*You really enjoy tummy time.

*You are a bit of a night owl and it's hard for us to get you to bed before 10pm. You sleep great waking around 4-5am to eat and then usually get up around 7 or 8am.

*You still wake with a smile on your face every morning. It's a great way to start our day! :)

*You LOVE your big sister and constantly watch her. You also giggle like crazy when Morgan dances or does something silly.

*You are becoming ticklish under your arms.

*You are really LOUD! Your coo's and squeals can be heard from every room in the house.

*You take 3-4 naps a day. You are doing well taking part of your naps in your crib, but your favorite place to nap is still in your mama's arms.

*You love noise and sleep great anywhere. You even took a nap during Morgan's tap dance class.

*You adore your baths and could stay in the tub all day.

*Your favorite song is "I'm a little teapot."

*You love cuddling blankets/burp cloths.

*We have caught you sucking your thumb. (Yes...I may have 2 thumb suckers in our house!)

*You are in a size 2 diaper and wear clothes anywhere from 3-6 months.

We love you so much!

Feeling HOT...HOT...HOT!

We are ready for this heat wave to end. Not the best weather with a little one. I feel like we are trapped inside a lot. Our neighborhood pool doesn't have shade, so I can't take Mackenzie. Andy and Morgan go to the pool when he is off work, which she loves. I look forward to next year when we can all go. Until then, we have had some fun in the shade with our baby pool. Morgan loves for Mackenzie to swim with her. :) I love Mackenzie in her swimsuit...check out her leg rolls. So cute!

Visit from Friends

Mackenzie has had some play dates with a few of her friends the past two weeks. She can't wait until they can come over and play again. :)

Mackenzie (3 months) and Paxton (5 weeks). His mom, Ashley, was in my sorority and also worked in the school district with me. She is a such a great person and I always enjoy spending time with her. Her little man Paxton is such a snuggle bug! Isn't he precious!

Mackenzie (3 months) and Clara (8 months). Susie and I have known each other since Kindergarten. We were also in the same sorority. I love having a friend like Susie...no matter how long it has been we can always pick up were we left off. Her little Clara is such a doll!!!

Pretty in Pink

Morgan LOVES pink! She decided to have a dance show at our house. She insisted on wearing all pink. This is what she created...

My Little Dancer

Morgan is in an 8 week tap, tumble, and ballet class this summer. She LOVES it!! She does a great job listening to her teacher Miss Ashley. Whenever class is over she is sad and can't wait to go back. :)

Another big moment...

Guess who was laying on their tummy when I went in her room this morning!?!? Hurray Mackenzie! You rolled over sometime between when I fed you at 2am and 7am in the morning. You seemed quite confused as to how you got in that position. We can't wait to see you master rolling over when you're awake! :)
