Spring or Winter?
We have had crazy weather for the past week. I guess that is spring in the Midwest. Here are some pictures of Morgan and Andy playing in the snow. We got a couple of inches over the weekend.
Morgan watching the sleet and snow come down.

Morgan loved touching the cold snow.

Happy Birthday Papa Joe!
Morgan loved showing everyone how fast she can drive her cart around the house.

We had Andy's family over for his dad's birthday dinner on Sunday! Joe's actual birthday is on St. Patrick's Day. Andy grilled out and it was delicious! Happy Birthday Joe!
I will read it to you Papa Joe!
We also celebrated MU advancing to the Sweet 16. It was a really close game at the end. It was so cute to see Morgan clapping the last minutes of the game as we all cheered.

Morgan ended the great evening by playing in the back of Papa Joe's truck. I got some fun pictures of her.
Got to love the drool dripping off her chin!!! :)

I'm a Princess!
Okay, so I am not trying to sound conceded.
I have a new part time job. The job is great because I pick the weekends I want to work and it only takes me away from my family for a few hours at a time. I dress as a princess and attend little girls birthday parties! I tell the girls a story, we play games, and then the girls get to have either face paint or make up. It is really fun and it feels a lot like teaching a lesson in a classroom. The only difference is I am dressed up wig and all! The average age of the kids is 3-6 years old. The birthday girls are so much fun to be around! They just light up when their favorite princess walks into the room! :) Check out the website. http://www.princessatmyparty.com/
A few of you who knew about my new job have requested pictures. I had Andy take a couple of pictures before I went to one of my parties.
Sleeping Beauty
Morgan loves seeing her Mommy all dressed up! She loves touching the wigs. :)

Quite a day
We've all had one of those days where you think...I can't believe this is happening. Then you look back and laugh because you know you kind of set yourself up for it.
Well, today was my day. Morgan and I had an uneventful morning. She took a great nap as I did some cleaning around the house. After her morning nap she wanted to go outside. Yes...I am starting to understand all of her moaning, babbling, and pointing. She pointing to the front door. Being a good mom I thought, lets go outside and get some fresh air. We bundled up in our coats and headed outside to sit on the front porch. Morgan enjoyed discovering all the nature around her. I happily watched her eyes sparkle as she explored. She loves being outside! After awhile I decided we would walk around the back of our house and explore and sit on the back deck. I decided to lock our front door since we would be in the backyard. After about 30 minutes I figured it was time to go in and have lunch. I opened our garage door and got the "oh no" feeling in my stomach. Sometimes we lock the door leading from the garage into the house. I had a bad feeling that Andy locked it as he left for work in the morning. I tried the door...and yes...we were lock out!
I would like to put today in the category of not my best mommy moment. Not only were we locked out of the house, but we had nothing with us. No cell phone, no diapers, no food, obviously no keys...well you get the idea. I always bring my cell phone outside with me, but for some crazy non-thinking moment I didn't today.
Thank goodness my wonderful neighbor Angie was home with her two little girls. Emma is just 3 months older than Morgan. Angie was so sweet and immediately jumped into action. She gave me her cell phone and car. I called Andy and told him the situation. I am sure he was just shaking his head as I explained my predicament. Then Morgan and I ventured off to Andy's work to retrieve his house key.

My lessons for the day...
- Never leave the house without my cell phone.
- It's not a good idea to lock all the doors to your house unless you have a key to get back in. :)
- Make friends with your neighbors...you may need them one day!
- And of course laugh!!!!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!
Hope everyone had a great St. Patrick's Day! Here are some pictures of Morgan in her cute shirt. Thanks to Aunt Vicki for getting the shirt for Morgan.

Morgan and I spent some time outside today. We took a walk and then strolled around the outside of our house looking at the plants and trees that are getting their buds. Morgan loved touching the trees, grass, and rocks. She even wanted to lick the driveway, but Mommy stopped her before she did! :)
The weather was just gorgeous!!
New Camera
I have a new camera! YEAH! I absolutely LOVE it!! I am having so much fun taking pictures with it. I love the feature that I can hold the button down and it keeps taking pictures until I lift my finger. No more 10 second delay like my old camera. This is an early birthday present from Andy. He was so sweet to give it to me now and not make me wait a whole month. I don't think I could go that long without taking a picture of Morgan. I can hardly go one day! :)

Time with Daddy
Here are some pictures of Morgan and Andy at the park over the weekend. They went to the park with Papa Joe and Grandma Lori. I stayed home and did some spring cleaning around the house. Morgan had her MU shirt on since the Big 12 game was that night! MU won! YEAH! :)

Camera Issues
I have wanted a new camera since Morgan was born. I just didn't want to spend the money! I love the quality of pictures my camera takes, but I don't like the delay when I snap the shot. I always miss the funny face Morgan makes or her big smile. Well...I may be getting a camera sooner than I expected. My camera has been acting up the past few days. Tonight I couldn't even download my pictures from this week to put on the blog. UGH!! I use my camera daily to capture Morgan in action. I guess I have worn it out!
I am still messing with my camera hoping I can get the pictures onto my computer. At least I can use my memory card and print the pictures. It may be a few more days until I am able to post any pictures.
Hope everyone is having a good week!

10 Months Old
I can't believe Morgan is already 10 months old! She will be one before I know it! She loves clapping her hands, giving kisses, and when she feels like it wave bye-bye. The funniest thing...she likes to growl. Most people crack up when the hear her. At least she is happily growling and doesn't seem upset or mad when she does it. :) It is so much fun to watch her learn new things about the world each day! We are looking forward to the warmer temps. that are suppose to be here by the end of the week. We are ready for more walks and time at the park!
