We are truly blessed to have a healthy girl and thank God for picking us to be her parents! I hope to post pictures soon!

Getting closer...

I had my Dr. appt. today. Our baby girl continues to be a "Chunky Monkey!" The sonogram shows her weighing 8lbs. 14 oz.! WOW!! She has gained over 2 lbs. in three weeks. Morgan was a nice 8lbs. even when she was born...looks like her sister is going to be a pound bigger.

I still haven't progressed. I am dilated and effaced the same as last week. I remember with Morgan I was only at a 2 when I went into labor. I guess my body doesn't do it's thing until the babies are ready to come out. :) The baby looks great and my NST showed her heart rate to be good. The doctor set up my induction date for Friday, which puts me at my first day of my 39th week. It seems crazy that our sweet girl will be here in about 72 hours or less. We are so excited! I can't wait to hold her and just be in awe of our little miracle!

We ask for your continued prayers that our baby bean arrives safe and sound and that both she and I remain healthy during and after the birth!

Prego dreams

Anyone who has been or is pregnant knows all about weird pregnancy dreams. I always seem to have weird dreams more in the first trimester. Last night I had such a funny nonsense dream. In the dream I had our baby girl...though I never gave birth to her in the dream...they just handed me my baby in the hospital room. The funny part is the doctor commented how our baby girl had 10 teeth. I know...weird! She looked like a perfect little new born, then as she opened her mouth it was like looking at a toddler.
When I woke up I couldn't help but laugh. Then I realized that I read an article earlier in the week about how some babies are born with teeth...though this isn't common. Hopefully our sweet girl is born toothless! :)

Happy Birthday Papa!

Andy's dads birthday is on St. Patrick's Day! We enjoyed a birthday BBQ a few days earlier over at our house. We always enjoy spending time with Andy's family. Morgan drew Papa a special picture. His birthday present is a guys day at a Royals game in May with Andy and Uncle Roger. Happy Birthday Joe! We love you!

St. Patrick's Play Date

We love getting together with our play group! We enjoyed a St. Patrick's Day themed play date over at Jenn's house. Morgan had so much fun she ended up taking a 2 1/2 hour nap when we got home. It was a great time and the weather was perfect for the kids to go hunting for gold leprechaun coins outside. :)

37 weeks

I had my Dr. appt. yesterday and I don't have anything to report. I am dilated and effaced the same as last week. During my sono they said the fluid around the baby is still really good, so I am thankful for that. Next Tuesday, they will check her weight during the sono. I am curious how much bigger our sweet girl will be by then. We are down to about 2 weeks or less. She will be here before we know it!

First Dental Visit

Morgan went to her first dental appointment yesterday. Most of us...aren't excited to go and get our teeth cleaned, but Morgan couldn't wait! She asked about it all week! She was an EXCELLENT patient!! I was a very proud mama when we left the dental office. She laid so still why they cleaned and checked her teeth. She listened and followed their directions. She loved getting two stickers and a bouncy ball at the end of the visit. I would highly recommend this office to anyone. The staff was fantastic! I loved the child friendly atmosphere and the way they approached cleaning Morgan's teeth. In fact, as we left she said she couldn't wait to go back. Last night at bed time she said she was going to dream of being a dentist when she gets big! Love that she had such a positive experience.

Her teeth look beautiful! The best part...no cavities!! YEAH Morgan! You are such a brave girl and a joy to take to new places. We are very PROUD of you!! :)

Captain Morgan

Morgan wanted to be a pirate. Her wonderful Daddy made her a hat, eye patch, mustache, and beard. She LOVED it!

Morgan and Andy played pirates and I could hear her say..."I Captain Morgan...ye need to walk the plank!" I'm sure she has no idea what walk the plank means, but I loved listening to her say it in her pirate voice. :)

Funny!

I have learned that toddlers say the funniest things!

This morning Morgan wanted to do an art project and I got out some construction paper, etc. I asked her what she would like to make. Her reply..."I'm going to make an arm pit warmer! It will make a great gift!!"
I couldn't help but laugh. I will give her points for her creativity. Not sure who will be the lucky owner of her "arm pit warmer" gift! :)

Doctor Appointment

I had a doctor appt. today and I am dilated to a 1 and 80% effaced. She also said the baby's head is really low. During the sonogram the sonographer and I saw a lot of hair waving back and forth on the babies head. The sonographer said it looked really long! How fun it would be to have a newborn with lots of hair! :) I guess we will have to wait and see if the sono is right and she comes out ready to wear hair bows!!!

Everything still checks out great and I am so thankful! I will be 37 weeks on Friday and I go back next Tuesday to see the doctor.

Chunky Monkey

I think baby bean's new name will be "chunky monkey!" I had my Dr. appt. today along with my sono and NST. During the sonogram they measured the growth of the baby. She is 6lbs. 10 oz. already! WOW! I was so surprised she was already that big! She is measuring a little over 37 weeks. I will be 36 weeks on Friday. My belly is still measuring a week behind which is hard to believe since I feel like my belly is HUGE!!
Everything looks great! My Dr. still talks about how impressed she is with our baby girls growth. The sonogram showed her head to be really low so I am looking forward to next weeks appt. to see how things are progressing. Hard to believe that it is March 1st and our sweet baby girl will be born this month!
I am so thankful that everything has gone smoothly so far during the pregnancy. I pray that our baby continues to stay healthy!
