10 Months

Our girl has been busy this month!  She is always on the go!  Even getting her little 10 month photo shoot was a challenge.

 Cheeses!  Look at all those teeth!  She now has 8 teeth and her first molar has just about popped through.

She loves everything about her big sister.  She is lucky to have a kind and patient older sister.  Mackenzie has destroyed Morgan's room many times.  She also pulls her hair and has even bit poor Morgan.  Through all that Morgan has always been 100% loving toward Mackenzie.  She is a great big sister!

 Mackenzie has been pushing objects around the house to use as her walker.  Tonight she stood for a minute without holding onto anything.  I know she will be walking before we know it!

Her newest trick...she loves to flush the toilet!  Too bad she doesn't know how to actually use the toilet yet. :)  We are officially in the never take your eyes off of  her stage.  It can make for a busy day!

Some other highlights...
She is still a lovable  and happy baby. 
She has begun signing "more" at the dinner table.  It isn't consistent yet, she's done it a few times in the past week.
Some of her favorite new foods are tilapia, chicken, grape fruit, quinoa, cottage cheese, pineapple, and green beans.
She is really good at giving big, slobbery open mouth kisses to us.  She also loves to kiss and hug her baby doll and will do it when we ask her too.
She has begun saying "mama" and "uh oh".  She still babbles up a storm and is constantly saying lots of good vowel sounds.
She still sleeps well at night and takes two naps a day.  She wakes up happy each morning!
She enjoys walks in the stroller and wagon rides with her sister.
She loves to snuggle.
Changing her diaper and clothes is a challenge because she doesn't like to sit still.

We love our busy girl! :)

Winter Park Days

The past week has been more like January, but overall we have enjoyed some really nice days this month.  We have gone to the park a few times.  One day last week it was in the 60's and windy.  Andy and Morgan enjoyed time outside flying her kite.  I never thought we would be flying a kite in January!

We are still here...

Hope everyone is having a happy 2012!  I took a little break from blogging the past few weeks.  I have been working on a few craft projects.  Then Andy and the girls got sick last week.  It seemed hard to get on the computer to blog.  So here are some pictures from the past month...

Morgan had "pajama day" at school!  She was thrilled since she want to be in her pj's 24/7! :)

Little one thinks she is big enough to grab her own food from the pantry.

Morgan is really into baby dolls lately.  This picture is funny.  Check out my high heels on her.  She said she was going to take her baby for a walk at the park.  She needs to learn "flats" are a mommy's best friend...not heels!

Whatever Morgan is doing...Mackenzie is right behind her.  Notice we hang out in our pj's a lot this time of year.

Mackenzie was so helpful giving everyone tissues for their runny noses.

"Take a picture of me!"  Morgan always wants her picture taken.

So Big!

Book Worm

Mackenzie loves to look at books.  She makes the cutest sounds babbling as she "reads" her stories.  The books really hold her attention and I am amazed that she can sit there for a good 5 to 10 minutes.

9 month check-up

Mackenzie had her 9 month check-up today.  She is growing and is definitely a "healthy" girl! 
Height 29 1/4 inches (92%)
Weight 21 lbs. 10 oz. (88%)

Our doctor said her one year old molars are definitely on their way in.  The teething never seems to stop. She also said she is doing great and hitting all of her milestones.  Mackenzie loved waving to the doctor and even clapped a couple of times.  That's the newest trick she learned this week.

She had one shot today and only cried for a second.  The moment I picked her up she got quiet and even smiled at the nurse.  Such a brave and happy girl!  We are so blessed she continues to be a healthy baby!
