Nutcracker

Morgan and I were so excited to spend a special evening in December downtown to see the Nutcracker!  We got dressed up and had a delicious meal at the Plaza then onto the performance.  We had a wonderful time with some of Morgan's sweet friends and their moms.  Mackenzie was sad she was to little to go.  We can't wait to take her next year!

Look at Mackenzie's sad face. :(  She was not happy she couldn't go.  She even put on her Christmas dress hoping she could go. Sweet girl!

Love my sweet baby!

A special night with Morgan!

December in Pictures

We had a wonderful and busy month celebrating Christmas!  Lots of memories made over the past few weeks.

The girls loved seeing Santa and Crown Center!

Ice Skating at Crown Center

Christmas in the Park

The girls wrote to "Shelby" their Elf on a Shelf and asked if they could play with her on Christmas Eve before she went back to the North Pole.  She wrote back saying yes!  The girls enjoyed playing with her all morning.

Ready for church!

Cousins!

We missed daddy Christmas Eve.  He had to work.

Merry Christmas!  Good morning!

Morgan loved getting "Kit" her American Girl Doll!

Mackenzie was so excited to get lots of Dora stuff...including this Dora dress.

Gigi is teaching Morgan how to sew.  They made these pretty aprons for Vicki and me.  Morgan put the letter "M" on mine because I'm her mom. :)

Cuba 2013

We enjoyed our annual Cuba, MO trip this November.  We love seeing the Albers side of the family.  The kids have so much fun running around and playing together.  We always enjoy the bon fire, delicious, food, card games and wonderful visits with family.  Uncle Rodger took us on a wild hayride!! I wish I had pictures of that!

Madelyn was the flower girl in our wedding.  She was just 5 years old.  Now she is in 8th grade!!  She is a beautiful girl on the inside and out!

Red Barn

We enjoyed a field trip in early October to The Red Barn in Weston.  The girls loved learning about the animals, getting pumpkins, and apples from the orchard.  We all learned a lot from the honey bee tour too.  The weather was great so we were able to have a picnic lunch at the end of our visit.  It was a fun field trip! :)
