2 year check up

Mackenzie's two year check-up went well!  She sat so quietly on m lap as Dr. Henschel checked her tummy, ears, mouth, etc. We always feel very blessed she is healthy!!

Height... 35 3/4 inches, 92%
Weight... 28 lbs., 68 %

Happy 2nd Birthday Mackenzie!

Our sweet and lovable Mackenzie Marie is TWO!!  Wow!  My baby is getting so big!

You are such a big girl, now that you are two!!!

• You can count to 11!
• You can count backwards from 5 down to 1.
• You know at least half of the alphabets letter sounds
• You can recognize many of the letters
• You are talking in mini sentences.  Lately your favorite thing to say is, "Mama, help me...please!"
• You call your big sister..."Mo Mo"
• You are obsessed with Dora!!!
• You are crazy about TV. Which forced us to have NO TV on in the house for 4 months!  The TV is back on and we still battle you about watching too much television.  With the nice weather you aren't watching much at all...thank goodness!
• You only seem to have major tantrums when it comes to TV or sometimes in the car.
• Everything Morgan does you copy her.  It's adorable how much you LOVE you big sister!!
• You like to sing and dance.
• You love to cuddle your mama and want me to hold ou all the time.  (I don't mind at all!)
• You do not like your hair to be fixed.  If I put it in a bow, you always make sure it comes out within a few minutes.  It's a constant battle!  ;)
• You can be so laid back, but you are also quite stubborn!
• You still are very picky when you eat, and you aren't crazy about sweets...except ice cream!
• You are pushing into 3T clothes.  Especially dresses...you're tall!
• Shoe size is a 7 or 8

You are a true blessing in our family!  We adore you and we're excited to watch you grow and learn over this next year!

Community Worker Day

Anybody need a good baker?  Morgan enjoyed community worker day at school.  The kids got to choose a career that you would see in the community.  Morgan chose to be a baker.  She was the cutest baker I've ever seen! :)

My Princess

Morgan enjoyed a princess event at our local library.  They heard a princess story and did a princess craft.  Of course Morgan's favorite part was getting to wear one of her princess gowns.  She also wore her fancy princess shoes!  She looked very royal!! :)
