Activities

 The girls started taking Gymnastics in October.  We finished up at the end of January.  Morgan had begged to take gymnastics for a year. Once she was actually in the class she found it to be pretty boring.  Lots of waiting in line to walk on the balance beam or take a turn on the bars.  Mackenzie's class was an open gym style class.  We felt for the money it was much more economical to just go to open gym instead of the class.

Morgan's passion has become ice skating.  She LOVES it!!! She started in October and is doing awesome!  She is quickly moving through the next level at the end of each five week session.

Princesses!

Our local communtiy center hosted a Princess Day!  The girls had fun dressing up and doing arts and crafts, games, painting their nails, and even a cupcake. :)

Bye-Bye Baby Bed!!!!

In true Mackenzie fashion she woke up declaring she wanted the front railing off of her baby bed.  She said, "I big, I need big bed."  She has never tried climbing out of her baby bed so I had planned to keep her in her baby bed through spring.  My heart was a little heavy. I wasn't prepared that today my baby no longer wanted her baby bed.  Sigh...growing up so fast! I told Andy, that six years ago we set up this crib around this time.  We were waiting for Morgan to be born.  We were so excited and had no idea how much our lives would change and how many times we would bend down over this crib to pick up our children or lay their sleepy heads down for the night. Luckily, this bed makes into a toddler day bed.  Mackenzie has done fantastic with her new bed and freedom!  She rarely gets out of her bed on her own.  In fact she calls out for me to come get her every morning.
