Morgan is 6!!
I know I say it every year, but I can't believe Morgan is another year older. It seems time just goes too fast.
Some of the memories from this past year...
Trips to...the beach, lake, Omaha, visit great grandma and grandpa, and visiting the Craig family.
You are doing so well homeschooling. You really seem to enjoy all the subjects, but I think math seems to be your favorite. You are always wanting to learn more. You are a great listening too...even when you aren't supposed to be listening to some conversation. ;) HA!
I love watching and hearing you read!
You love to sing and dance. Right now, you can't get enough of the Frozen soundtrack! You have a great imagination and enjoy playing with your American Girl doll, strawberry shortcake, and building Lego's. After 6 years...you still wake very early. Many times, you'll be awake by 6am. Luckily, you are a great kid and you'll color and make art projects in your room until the rest of us wake up. You are a wonderful big sister! You love your little sister so much. It's so sweet to see how close you two have become.
You still love to ride your bike and play outside.
You have a big passion for ice skating! You love being on the ice. We are excited to see what you learn in the coming year.
Morgan, you have such a big heart!! Your Daddy and I are so proud of you! We always notice your concern for others and how sweet you are to your family and friends. We look forward to watching you grow in the year ahead! Happy Birthday "Big Kid!"

A few weeks ago Morgan got a chance to ice skate on the Mavericks Hockey Team ice. She had a blast skating in the big arena!

Family Party
We enjoyed a family birthday party for both Morgan and Mackenzie over the weekend. We had some stormy weather during part of the party. Thankfully, the party still went great!
Happy Birthday Morgan!
Morgan wanted to have an art party this year. We invited some of her sweet friends over to paint and make ice cream sundaes. It was a great afternoon!
The girls letters turned out great! Lots of artist in this group!! :)

Happy Easter
We had a very nice Easter! The weather was beautiful and we enjoyed church, lots of time with family and egg hunts. We were sad Daddy had to work. We made sure we stopped to see him and brought him a plate of food. :)
The Easter bunny brought the girls each a dvd and a box of chalk to share. They also got a little candy.

First Ice Skating Competition
Morgan had her first ice skating competition yesterday. Over the past month she has been working with a skating coach. She is really loving her private lessons with Ms. Carrie. The two of them have really clicked. I love all the ice skating techniques Carrie is teaching Morgan. For her competition she performed a one minute routine to music on the ice. I was so proud of her dedication to learning her routine. Also, to watch the confidence she had going out on the ice by herself and doing her performance was such a proud moment. Andy and I just wanted her to focus on having fun at the event. Morgan did fabulous! She got first place in Basic level 3!!! We were so proud of her!!!! I love watching her skate on the ice. It makes my heart so happy to see her have such a love and joy for this fun sport.
Ready for the competition!!
She looked great in her competition skating dress and her new white skates!
She was excited to have glitter in her hair. :)
Very proud of herself!!
On the podium waiting for her medal.
First Place!!!!!

We got her American Girl doll a special ice skating outfit to congratulate Morgan on her hard work.

THREE!!
Our sweet baby girl is three years old!
This year you seemed to have grown in so many ways!
You got out of diapers around Thanksgiving. Easiest potty training EVER!! :)
At the start of the new year you decided to sleep like a big girl. You now sleep in a daybed. (converted baby bed)
You play really well with your sister...you never fight. (at least not yet)
You also play really well on your own. You are VERY independent and you like to do things the way you want them to be done.
You hate to be messy!
You still enjoy books, arts and crafts, you LOVE Dora, Strawberry Shortcake, stuffed animals and your doll.
You are getting really good at jumping, running fast, and riding your tricycle.
You know all your colors, all the letters of the alphabet and you also know the all letter sounds.
You love to draw rainbows, sun, people, and the letters "M and H." Which you tell me that is for your name Mackenzie Hilbrich.
You can count from #1-13 and #19-30. #14-18 isn't on your counting radar right now. :)
You love to be dressed up as a ballerina, but refuse to let me ever fix your hair. Sometimes you will wear a headband, but that's it.
You love to cuddle and you always want me to hold you.
We have to limit your time watching TV. You want to watch it all the time...especially Dora.
You love to sing Ring Around the Rosie, Ba Ba Black Sheep, and The ABC's.
You go to bed perfectly at night and sleep an average of 11-12 hours.
Sadly, you've given up your nap. Last month you stopped cold turkey. :( I am hoping maybe in the summertime with all the swimming and playing outside we can get you to nap again.
You have lots of stuffed animals in your bed. Your two favorites you can't sleep without are "Monkey" and "Bear."
You have trouble pronouncing your R's and S's. A lot of the things you say are so precious...ballaweena for ballerina, hun-gwe for hungry, pwin-theth for princess.
You are a picky eater. Your favorite meal is grilled cheese and fruit.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MACKENZIE!! I can't wait to see what fun this year ahead brings!!
We love you lil one!
Mackenzie's door decorated to start her day!
Sweets and surprises over at the Wilson house!
An afternoon cupcake from Daddy!
