Burr Oak

Morgan and I went to Burr Oak Woods Nature Center. At first I was thinking we wouldn't be there that long. We ended up staying for an hour. Morgan loved seeing all the animals, putting the puzzles together, and she even got to pet a snake! Another favorite part was watching wild turkey's eat from an observation room.

We have recently been reading a book about frogs. Morgan pointed out the lily pads and told me how frogs like to jump on them.

Pancake Maker

Morgan requested pancakes this morning for breakfast. Of course, she helped make them as she always does. When it was time to mix the batter she said "whisk". Then she opened the drawer grabbed the whisk and started stirring. Maybe she will become the future cook of the house! :)

5 Years

Life has been so much fun over the past five years! This time five years ago Andy and I were dancing the night away at our wedding reception. We love talking about all the fun we had that evening. It seems like only yesterday, and then again...it seems like a lifetime ago.

I have enjoyed every moment being married. Nothing is better than walking through life with that perfect person who just gets you. I am truly blessed that I found the love of my life!

We will be heading to an overnight get away in the coming month to celebrate. Can't wait!

Andy had flowers delivered to the house today! I LOVE getting flowers! It put such a smile on my face.

Cooling off

Last night we had popsicles outside after dinner to cool off from the hot day. Morgan insisted she wear her stocking cap.

Morgan played with her sidewalk paint as Andy and I cleaned out our garage yesterday. She really enjoyed herself...the pictures say it all!!
